When is an emergency?

- Eye strain or discomfort: Severe discomfort or persistent eye strain that affects daily activities.
- Glaucoma-related issues: Sudden increase in intraocular pressure, which may cause pain, blurred vision, or halos around lights.
- Retinal issues: Symptoms such as sudden flashes of light, floaters, or a curtain-like shadow over the vision.
- Corneal abrasions: Scratches or injuries to the cornea causing pain or vision problems.
- Contact lens complications: Infections or discomfort caused by improper use or wear of contact lenses.
- Sudden change in vision: Rapid changes in clarity, color perception, or field of vision.
